This is a “Stay to Play” event. A good working relationship with hotels is critical for the long-term success of the event. For this reason\, teams or attendees who are traveling from out of town are required to book their rooms through the Official Travel Partner\, EventConnect\, to ensure that room blocks are utilized. Once you have registered for the tournament\, you’ll be directed into the hotel feed for accommodation options. These hotels meet certain standards and location guidelines set by the tournament and booking service. We look forward to seeing you there! \nGuest Speaker: Alain Babin\nAlain pronounced “Alan\,” was born in France. He married his high school sweetheart\, Rosie in Del Rio\, Texas. While there\, they both enlisted in the U.S. Army as a husband-and-wife team. Together\, they have two children\, Alan a wounded combat veteran and Christy\, a businessperson with Underwriters Laboratory. \nAfter his enlistment in the Army\, Alain pursued a career in law enforcement\, spanning thirty-four years. He served with three different departments in California and Texas. His final twenty-five years were dedicated to the Round Rock Police Department\, where he climbed the ranks and retired as an Assistant Chief of Police in 2019. \nThroughout his career\, Alain has been actively involved in various volunteer organizations. He has supported veterans’ organizations\, the Police Special Olympics\, and Stephanie Myers car shows\, all of which raise funds for local charities. Currently\, he serves as a Director with the Lakeway Police Foundation and the Lakeway Civic Corporation. \nAlain also holds a Master of Science degree from Sam Houston State University and is a graduate of the National FBI Academy.
