We’re back for the 10th year of Penfold in the Park! As Lysandra and Hermia flee Athens’ oppressive laws into a forest full of meddlesome fairies, will love come out on top? This new spin on the classic story places all 21 characters in the hands of 4 virtuosic performers for a free night of fun for the whole family!
No, there’s no reserved seating. You can arrive as early as 5:30pm to save a space on the grass. On October 15th , ASL interpretation will be provided. For that night only, an area will be reserved so those using interpretation for language access have a good view of the interpreters and the stage.
We recommend bringing a blanket or folding chairs. We have snacks, drinks and bug repellent for sale at the concessions window, though you’re welcome to bring your own (no glass bottles please).
Our concession snacks aren’t quite a meal, but there are many restaurants less than half a mile away in Round Rock’s historic downtown district.
Pets are welcome! We do ask your help by keeping them on a leash and cleaning up after them.

Because the risk of transmission is lower for outdoor events, we are not requiring audience members to wear masks. If you’d like to know what we’re doing to protect our cast and crew, email us at info@penfoldtheatre.org.
If you frequently end up turned around, try plugging W Bagdad Ave and S Harris St into your GPS and then follow the big sign to the free parking garage. Or if you prefer surface parking, plug S Brown St and W Florence St into your GPS and you should see a large lot next to a large stone sign for “Centennial Plaza.”
