The public is invited to attend the Round Rock Fire Department’s annual 9/11 memorial tower climb on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Round Rock Public Safety Training Center (PSTC) located at 2801 N. Mays. There will also be a 5K walk for those that do not wish to climb the tower. Participants must arrive by 7:15 a.m. and the climb will begin at 7:45 a.m. Below is the schedule of events:

• 7:30 (opening ceremony and prayer)
• 7:46- first bell, begin climb (first tower hit)
• 8:03- second bell (second tower hit)
• 8:37- third bell  (pentagon hit)
• 8:59- fourth bell  (first tower collapse)
• 9:03- fifth bell  (Pennsylvania crash)
• 9:28- sixth bell (second tower collapse)
