Please join us for the 7th annual Round Rock Dia de los Muertos Festival, November 2, 2019. The festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Mexico and promotes cultural diversity for families of Round Rock and surrounding communities.
Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday when deceased friends and family members are remembered and honored. Tradition lends loved ones to decorate the grave site of the departed with marigold flowers, photos and favorite food and beverages. This festival pays tribute to the tradition that has been celebrated in Mexico for centuries.
The Dia de los Muertos Festival provides traditional dance performances and music, altar displays and craft booths. Last year the Dia de los Muertos Festival had 8,500+ attendees and this year we are expecting even more.
