Hoody’s Sub Shop
The word on the streets is that Hoody’s has the best Philly Cheesesteak… not only in Round Rock, but in the world! This classic sandwich shop opened in 1989, and locals will tell you that what sets Hoody’s apart is the tangy hot pepper relish on every sandwich. If you’re not in the mood for a Philly, they have a variety of hot, cold and vegetarian sandwiches for everyone.
Greenhouse Craft Food
Priding itself on preparing their food with the most local ingredients possible, Greenhouse Craft Food has a great selection of classic sandwiches with a unique twist. Try their take on a Grilled Cheese, made with cheddar and spicy pimiento, or Aunt Lola’s Pulled Pork with house-made pickles. Don’t forget to add a side of their hand-crafted kettle chips!
Urban Eat. Drink
Did somebody say “Fried Chicken Sandwich”? Urban Eat. Drink in Downtown Round Rock has what you’re looking for, and theirs is topped with a garlic-sriracha aioli and housed in a soft brioche bun.
