GUADALUPE BASS POPULATION ASSESSMENT TOURNAMENT (REGISTRATION REQUIRED)
Saturday, June 3 at Living Waters Fly Fishing
Living Waters has coordinated the first ever Guadalupe Bass Population Assessment Tournament on Brushy Creek! As home to one of the few genetically pure populations of Guadalupe bass in Texas, Brushy Creek is a waterbody of special importance to the state. The purpose of the event is to gather information for Texas Parks and Wildlife regarding the population density of Guadalupe bass in certain reaches of the creek.
The tournament is open to the public, all ages can compete, and no entry fee is required! TPWD will be on-site to help compile all fish data and verify tournament results. Living Waters will award prizes to the anglers that catch the most Guadalupe bass in each of the assigned sections of Brushy Creek. Instead of a single winner, there will be up to four grand prize recipients!
