From March to November, you and your family can watch a colony of Mexican free-tailed bats emerge from the McNeil Overpass Bridge each night at dusk. These bats can also be seen from the rooftops and patios at restaurants throughout town if you prefer to dine (or sip) as you see! Or for a local’s tip, you can set up chairs and blankets in the Napa Auto Store parking lot to get an up-close viewing.
