For two decades, Turner’s deep, velvet voice has been the most recognizable on country radio. His unwavering dedication to the tenets of the country genre inspired a generation of country singers and bolstered an underserved segment of the fanbase. He was born in South Carolina in 1977 and grew up singing in church choirs and quartets, learning to play guitar and write songs. He scored his first number one hit in 2006 with “Your Man“, a romantic ballad that showcased his bass vocals and became his signature song. He moved to Nashville in 1999 to pursue a music career and impressed the legendary Randy Travis with his demo tape, leading to a record deal and a debut at the Grand Ole Opry in 2001. He has released eight albums and earned multiple awards and nominations, including four Grammy nods and two CMA Awards for Song of the Year.’
