The City of Round Rock’s Parks and Recreation Department presents the 12th annual Family Campout on Friday, Sept. 13th through Saturday, Sept. 14th at Old Settlers Park.
Come spend the night in Old Settlers Park! You’ll pop your tent in the park, eat dinner, have fun, play games, sit around the campfire eating s’mores, watch a movie in the park, and then off to sleep under the stars. Wake up with the sunrise and enjoy breakfast.
Early Registration – $10 per person
Registration for the campout is required. Registration fee will increase to $15 on September 1. Each registered participant will receive two meals (dinner on Friday evening and pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday morning, vegetarian option available if requested by 9/8), s’mores and a t-shirt.
Participants are responsible providing all of their own camping equipment, as well as setup and take down of tents.
We recommend bringing:
No pets allowed. No electricity available. No shower facilities. Personal campfires are not allowed.
*The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to modify, relocate and/or cancel a special event due to forecasted weather and/or turf conditions that may cause the event site to be unsafe or unsuitable for event activities. If a special event is cancelled, a program credit may be given to registered participants at the discretion of the Parks and Recreation Director. This will be communicated to registered participants via email within one week after the event date
