Who can say no to a waffle loaded with Nutella, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream? At Waffle Love, breakfast feels like a special treat. Their authentic Belgian Liège waffles have even been featured on the Food Network and Cooking Channel. Cafe Java

Cafe Java is a Round Rock staple that has mastered the art of a classic breakfast. With its cozy diner atmosphere and homestyle cooking, it’s the kind of place where everyone can find a favorite. The kids’ breakfast menu features Kiddy Java eggs with hash browns, meat, and toast, plus pancakes, French toast, and even a ham-and-cheese omelet. Add one of their loaded hot chocolates, and breakfast is officially a win.

Bonus: if your family believes breakfast tastes just as good at dinnertime, you’re in luck. During their seasonal promotion, kids eat free Monday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entrée.

The Toasted Yolk Cafe

The Toasted Yolk Cafe has quickly become one of Round Rock’s go-to breakfast spots, and it’s easy to see why. Their menu is packed with delicious breakfast favorites, while the kids’ menu comes with a perk every parent can appreciate: coloring pages and crayons to keep little hands busy. The bright, cheerful space even features a colorful Round Rock mural, making it the perfect place to fuel up before a day of exploring.

Waterloo Coffee Company

Waterloo turns your morning coffee run into an adventure for the whole family. While you enjoy your latte, little ones can head upstairs to the adorable kids’ café and play barista, serving up imaginary lattes of their own. Back downstairs, they’ll find plenty of real treats to enjoy, including smoothies, steamers, frozen lemonade, hot chocolate, and fresh-baked pastries. Let’s just say everyone leaves feeling like they got their coffee fix… even the kids.

The Crepe Lab

Crepe Labs may not have a dedicated kids’ menu, but one look at the menu and you’ll understand why it’s on our list! This fresh, modern café serves artisan crepes and globally inspired dishes that are as fun to eat as they are delicious. Kids will love sweet creations like the Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe, Dubai Chocolate Crepe, chocolate croffles (croissant waffle), and Tres Leches waffles. Just a heads up for parents: you might find yourself asking for “just one bite” of your kid’s breakfast.

Prete Plaza

Mom and daughter at Prete Plaza

We had to add Prete Plaza to the list because sometimes breakfast is even better with a splash pad. Grab your breakfast to go, whether it’s a box of famous Round Rock Donuts, breakfast tacos, or your favorite pastry, and head downtown. After everyone fuels up, the kids can cool off at the free splash pad while the grown ups relax. It’s a great way to spend a morning in Round Rock!

We hope your breakfast rocked! Now it’s time to keep the fun going. Check out our Kid-Friendly Activities in Round Rock guide for even more family adventures waiting around every corner.
