Who can say no to a waffle loaded with Nutella, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream? At Waffle Love, breakfast feels like a special treat. Their authentic Belgian Liège waffles have even been featured on the Food Network and Cooking Channel. You don’t have to stay at Kalahari Resorts to enjoy a great breakfast! Great Karoo Marketplace is open to the public and serves a tasty morning spread. Go all in on the breakfast buffet or order from the À la carte menu with favorites like pancakes, French toast, made-to-order omelets, the All-American Breakfast, and even cereal favorites. It’s the perfect place to fuel up before a day of adventure, whether you’re headed to the waterpark or exploring Round Rock.
Kerbey Lane Cafe
Since 1980, Kerbey Lane has been serving up housemade breakfast favorites across Central Texas, and luckily for visitors, one of their locations is right here in Round Rock. Kids can enjoy the Jr. Breakfast Platter or choose from Kerbey Lane’s famous pancakes in flavors like chocolate chip, blueberry, gingerbread, and more. Even sweeter? Kids eat free every Tuesday with the purchase of an adult entrée, making breakfast taste just a little bit better!
Tot Box Play Cafe
Part play space and part café, TOT Box Play Café is designed with young children in mind. Parents can sip on a coffee while little ones explore the safe, age-appropriate play areas. It’s the perfect first stop before a full day of exploring Round Rock.
The Crepe Lab
Crepe Labs may not have a dedicated kids’ menu, but one look at the menu and you’ll understand why it’s on our list! This fresh, modern café serves artisan crepes and globally inspired dishes that are as fun to eat as they are delicious. Kids will love sweet creations like the Strawberry Cheesecake Crepe, Dubai Chocolate Crepe, chocolate croffles (croissant waffle), and Tres Leches waffles. Just a heads up for parents: you might find yourself asking for “just one bite” of your kid’s breakfast.
Prete Plaza
We had to add Prete Plaza to the list because sometimes breakfast is even better with a splash pad. Grab your breakfast to go, whether it’s a box of famous Round Rock Donuts, breakfast tacos, or your favorite pastry, and head downtown.
