The Round Rock Police Department invites everyone to participate in Fill the Need: Food Drive & Hike for Hunger on Saturday, November 14, 2026.
This community event supports the Round Rock Area Serving Center and helps provide food for neighbors in need.
Join the fun at Centennial Plaza in Downtown Round Rock from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bring nonperishable food donations, enjoy family-friendly activities, and help make a difference! 🥫

The annual Fill the Need food drive brings the community together for an important cause.
Residents, businesses, neighborhoods, and organizations are encouraged to collect nonperishable food items.
Then, bring those donations to Centennial Plaza on event day.
Every contribution helps support the Round Rock Area Serving Center and its mission to assist local families.
Together, the community can help fight hunger and support neighbors in need.

Want to participate? Start by collecting food donations before the event!
Consider gathering items such as:
- 🥫 Canned vegetables and fruits
- 🍝 Pasta and rice
- 🥜 Peanut butter
- 🥣 Cereal and oatmeal
- 🥫 Canned soups and beans
- 📦 Other shelf-stable food items
Before donating, check expiration dates and make sure all packages are unopened.
Additionally, consider organizing a food collection with coworkers, friends, or neighbors.

One of the event’s highlights is the annual Hike for Hunger, beginning at noon.
Participants will gather at Centennial Plaza before starting a one-mile community walk.
The route leads from Centennial Plaza to the Round Rock Area Serving Center.
Along the way, participants will carry donated food items to the Serving Center.
This meaningful walk brings neighbors together while helping deliver donations where they’re needed.
So grab a bag, invite your friends, and take steps toward fighting hunger! 👟
