Round Rock Memorial Park is a large centrally-located community park with several historical features, a commemorative WWII torpedo, and informative plaques. This linear shaped park runs along Brushy Creek and is home to geese and ducks that love to be fed from the park benches. The picnic tables and benches are well shaded by large oak trees. Trails follow along the creek throughout the whole park and lead over to the round rock, for which the city is named, and to the Chisholm Trail Crossing Park.
For the softball players out there, Memorial Park offers a softball field along with a full concession stand. Parking is available just outside the field and only a few steps away from the playground. Park goers can also enjoy other amenities such as picnic tables, grills, and drinking fountains.
