February marks Black History Month, a significant time to recognize historical contributions and celebrate culture. Round Rock has events and activities that honor black history and heritage. From educational exhibitions to master classes to visiting black-owned businesses, there’s something for everyone to explore. Here is your guide to celebrate Black History Month this February.

1.) Black History Month Exhibit at Round Rock Public Library (Feb. 3-28): Delve into the rich history of Round Rock’s African American community through a captivating photo collection. Explore the “Black Family: Faith, Hope, and Love” theme and better understand the city’s heritage. 2. Wine Taste at Wine Sensation: Celebrate love and diversity this month at the Wine Sensation, a Black-owned restaurant and wine-tasting room. Enjoy gourmet dining offerings and wine tasting while supporting a local business.

3.) Black History Month Master Class (Feb 15): Discover the history of African Americans in Williamson County this February 15th. Enroll in a Black History Month Master Class led by Mr. Ernest Rector, presented by the Round Rock Black History Organization and the Round Rock Public Library.
