We’re owl about the cocktails at Hoot & Annie. This upscale cocktail bar is attached to the Round Rock Tavern and has speakeasy vibes and elegant decor. They are known for their signature mixes and classic cocktails. They have the oh-so-popular Espresso Martini, or you can get a timeless Cosmopolitan. They also have tailor-made drinks like the Parliament Punch with Flor De Cana, Creme De Mare, Benedictine, coconut cream, orange juice, lime, and frozen raspberries & mint. Yes, please!
Kalahari Resorts and Conventions
You know where to find us on vacation. Poolside with a frozen drink in our hand! Kalahari has plenty of frozen cocktails and drinks on the rocks throughout their property. They have 20 unique on-site dining options, including four full-service restaurants with carefully crafted cocktails. They also have specialty bars and lounges throughout the property. You can enjoy a nightcap at the Baobab Social or get the full piano bar experience and sip on a spirit at Redd’s Piano Bar and Lounge and speakeasy bar.
Cork and Barrel Craft Kitchen + Microbrewery
Is this a cocktail or a science experiment? We think Bill Nye would be impressed by the cocktail creations at the Cork & Barrel. We are certainly in awe of this Carrie Bradshaw cocktail with a citrus bubble! They have handcrafted drinks that are sure to wow guests. After looking over the menu, we are unsure what to order because everything looks so appetizing. We especially love the clever names like Ross & Rachel, Heaven Sent, and Texas Sun!
The Ruby Hotel
Lounge with a libation in your hand at The Ruby Hotel. They have a whimsical bar with an outdoor patio and they serve up superb drinks. They have a classic Ruby Old-Fashioned, and Italian spirits and a drink called the Jamaican Farewell with Havana Clasico Rum, Rum Haven, pineapple, lime, and Ginger Beer. If you’re looking for something different you can enjoy a zero-proof drink of Watermelon Limeade with cold-pressed watermelon juice, fresh lime juice, and sparkling water.
Liberty Barbecue
When in Texas, you get a Bloody Mary with a BBQ rib adorning it! This hearty Bloody Mary from Liberty BBQ will satisfy your taste buds and fill your stomach. In addition to the Bloody Mary masterpiece, they have house cocktails like the Liberty Peach Tea, Strawberry Jalapeño Paloma, and the Trinity River Trash Can Punch!
Urban Eat.Drink
This locally owned spot is the place to go for a patio and a custom cocktail. They mix up lush libations. Their menu has various cocktails like their gin-based drink, the Clover Rock Club, and their Violet Sunset with vodka cranberry, peach, creme de violet, simple syrup, and lime. They also have an extensive whiskey menu with options galore. Their happy hours are all day Tuesday, Wednesday-Friday 2-7 pm, and Saturday 3-6 pm, where you can get $2 off a cocktail.
The Alcove Cantina
We have a theory that it’s impossible to be upset with a margarita in your hand and a bowl of chips and salsa in front of you! Experience bliss while enjoying a drink and an appetizer at the Alcove. Alcove has killer margs and specialty drinks like the Effen Berry Refresher, Dragonberry Mojito, and Absolut Limeade. They have Happy Hour Specials all day Monday and Tuesday-Friday 3-7 pm.
Bar Louie
Cocktails for a cause? We can cheers to that! Now until October 4th, if you order an Aloha Punch at Bar Louie in Round Rock a dollar of the proceeds will be donated to the World Central Kitchen which helps provide food to people suffering from natural disasters, man-made crises, and humanitarian emergencies. They also have plenty of other drinks to order like their PB&J Mule, their Diva Martini, and their Hampton Iced Tea. You can enjoy Happy Hour Monday-Friday 4 pm-7 pm.
HopDoddy Burger BAr
We’ll take a House Frozen Margarita with a side of Parmesan Truffle Fries! You may know that Hopdoddy’s has savory burgers and fries, but did you know they have specialty cocktails and pre-made margaritas you can take home? Yep! We’re convinced this is paradise. At Hopdoddy, they have many Margarita options, Rum Punch, and Palomas, and you can even switch up your milkshake and add a little kick to it!
