Bluebonnet Beer Company

Established in 2013, Bluebonnet Beer Company is the materialization of a dream nearly 10 years in the making. The husband and wife team of David and Clare Hulama work out of a tiny brewery in Round Rock, Texas with one goal in mind – To share flavorful, award-winning craft beers with you, our family, friends, and community.

Their family and friends often pitch in to run the bar, kitchen, or wash the glassware when you visit the brewery taproom on weekends. It truly is a family business! You can find Bluebonnet beers in finer establishments in and around the Round Rock area. If your favorite restaurant, bar, or store doesn’t carry Bluebonnet, don’t hesitate to ask for it!

🍻 Welcome to Bluebonnet Beer Company – Round Rock’s Original Craft Brewery

Located in Round Rock, Texas, Bluebonnet Beer Company is a locally-owned craft brewery where community matters as much as the beer. Founded by husband-and-wife team David and Clare Hulama, Bluebonnet combines award-winning brewing with a relaxed, family-friendly taproom in the heart of the Austin metro area.

🎨 What Makes Bluebonnet Unique

A true Texas craft brewery – Established in 2013 after nearly 10 years of planning, Bluebonnet has grown from a dream to one of Round Rock’s go-to destinations for craft beer lovers.
Family-run, community-rooted – With Clare handling marketing and sales and David, a formally educated brewer (Dipl. Brew from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling, London), overseeing production, the team brings both craft and heart to every pint.
Taproom experience – The taproom at 1700 Bryant Dr., Ste 107 offers a welcoming space to enjoy fresh brews, rotating food trucks, a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, and a laid-back vibe that invites locals and visitors alike.

🍺 The Beer & Food Vibe

Classic and creative beer styles – Whether you’re into light, crisp beers or bold, rich lagers, Bluebonnet covers the spectrum. Core offerings include their Cream Ale, Trophy Buckle IPA, Hefeweizen and more. Seasonal and specialty brews add variety and keep the menu fresh.
Food trucks on site – Instead of a full kitchen, the taproom hosts rotating food trucks, so you’ll find local eats alongside your pint — a fun pairing for a casual outing.
Accessible for all – With beer-to-go options and a welcoming space for families, Bluebonnet is great for both locals and visitors exploring the Round Rock/Austin craft beer scene.
