Hometown Parklet Shows

What the event is

• It’s a free lunchtime live-music series organized by the Round Rock Arts & Culture department of the City of Round Rock.

• Performances generally take place Tuesdays and Thursdays during the season.

• Time is around 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

• The location: various parklets along the 100- and 200-blocks of East Main Street in Downtown Round Rock.

• A “parklet” here means a small public seating/gathering space built alongside the sidewalk/in front of businesses in downtown.

Where exactly

Some specific parklet locations listed include:

• Parklet #1: Main St & Lampasas in front of Louisiana Longhorn Café. City of Round Rock+1

• Parklet #2: Corner of Main St & Lampasas in front of Lamppost Coffee. Round Rock TX+1

• Parklet #3: Corner of Main St & Lampasas in front of Ghama Zone Korean Food. Round the Rock

So when you arrive, look for tents and speakers along East Main—just listen for music and grab a seat.

When the series runs

• For Fall 2025: It’s scheduled from October 2 through November 13.

• Because of the nature of outdoor events, some shows may be cancelled due to weather.

What to expect

• A variety of music genres: jazz, blues, country, Americana, soul, rock, etc. For example: on October 30, 2025: “Bajo Azul – Spanish Rock”.

• Bring your lunch (or pick up something nearby), bring a chair or use the seating available in the parklets.

• Because it’s during lunch hours, it’s more relaxed — good for outings, solo visits, or a break with coworkers.

• Free admission: no ticket needed.

Tips & things to note

• Arrive a little early if you want a good seat (especially if it’s nice weather).

• Since it’s outside downtown, be mindful of parking (you’ll likely need to park nearby and walk in).

• Check the weather: being outdoors means the event could move/cancel if it rains or if it’s severe.

• Check the social media pages of Round Rock Arts & Culture (Facebook/Instagram) for last-minute updates.

• Because the location may vary between parklets (they rotate), it helps to check the schedule for which parklet for which date.

Our Fall 2025 Hometown Parklet Shows can be enjoyed from October 2, 2025-November 13, 2025. Shows will take place along the parklets of East Main Street in Downtown Round Rock on Tuesdays and Thursdays. – 11:30 am – 1:00 p.m. We will also have free face painting and balloon twisting for children of all ages.
