The Festival of Lights returns to Centennial Plaza on Saturday, October 24, from 1–10 p.m. Even better, the festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026!

Admission and parking are free. So, bring your family and friends for a full day of festivities in Downtown Round Rock. 🪔🎉

✨ Celebrate Diwali in Round Rock

Diwali celebrates light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil.

During the festival, Centennial Plaza comes alive with colorful sights, sounds, and flavors. In addition, visitors from throughout Central Texas are invited to experience Indian culture and traditions.

Whether this is your first Diwali celebration or an annual tradition, everyone is welcome.

💃 Enjoy Live Music and Dance

Get ready for a packed schedule of entertainment! 🎶

The festival plans to feature more than 60 live performances with approximately 1,000 performers.

Throughout the day, guests can experience Bharatanatyam, Bhangra, Kathak, Garba, Bollywood, and more.

Later, join a free Bollywood dance workshop. Then, end the evening on the open dance floor with a Bollywood DJ! 💃🕺

🎨 Experience Rangoli and the Diya Lighting Ceremony

Art and tradition are also important parts of the celebration.

From 4:30–6:30 p.m., watch the Rangoli and Kolam sand art competition. 🎨

Then, gather for the Diya Lighting Ceremony from 6:50–7:15 p.m. 🪔 This special ceremony celebrates the light and spirit of Diwali.

🛍️ Explore the India Bazaar

While you’re there, make time to explore the MEGA India Bazaar.

Browse vendors offering clothing, jewelry, art, crafts, beauty products, and more. Plus, visitors can enjoy henna and other festival activities.

Of course, don’t forget to come hungry! 🍛 The festival will also feature Indian street food and other treats.

Fashion takes center stage during the evening!

The Bollywood Fashion Show is scheduled from 7:20–7:40 p.m. Expect colorful styles, music, and plenty of energy. ✨👗

Afterward, live performances continue until 9 p.m.
