🦃 Round Rock Turkey Trot 2026 – Start Thanksgiving with a 5K Fun Run!

Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a Thanksgiving tradition! 🏃‍♀️🍁

The Round Rock Turkey Trot 2026 returns on Thursday, November 26, at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, this community event brings families, friends, and neighbors together for a Thanksgiving morning 5K.

Hosted by Fleet Feet Round Rock and the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department, the event supports local charities.

So gather your family, put on your running shoes, and start Thanksgiving with a little fun! 🦃

🏃‍♂️ Enjoy a Thanksgiving Morning 5K

The Round Rock Turkey Trot features a 5K (3.1-mile) course through scenic Old Settlers Park.

First, participants will gather near the Lakeview Pavilion and Stage area.

Then, runners will follow a loop through the park, including the new pedestrian bridge.

Best of all, this is an untimed fun run. Therefore, participants can focus on enjoying the experience rather than racing the clock.

Everyone who finishes will receive a medal! 🏅

❤️ Run for a Great Cause

The Turkey Trot is more than a Thanksgiving morning tradition.

It’s also an opportunity to give back to the Round Rock community.

Proceeds from the event will benefit three local organizations:

• ❤️ Round Rock Serving Center – Supporting neighbors in need.
• 🎁 Operation Blue Santa – Helping bring holiday joy to local families.
• 🛝 Play for All Abilities Park – Supporting inclusive recreation opportunities.

Additionally, participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations and unwrapped toys.

These contributions will help support local families during the holiday season.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A Family-Friendly Thanksgiving Tradition

Whether you’re running with friends or enjoying a family outing, this event offers a fun way to begin the holiday. 🍂
