Penfold Theatre proudly presents Wild Horses, a fierce, funny, and unforgettable coming-of-age story by acclaimed playwright Allison Gregory. Set to the pulse of a 1970s soundtrack, this one-woman show dives headfirst into the messy, magical world of teenage girlhood.

At the center is a woman—played by the electrifying Jennifer Coy Jennings—looking back on a summer that changed everything. Trapped in a chaotic family but surrounded by a crew of wild, loyal friends, she relives a string of adolescent firsts that are equal parts hilarious, heartbreaking, and downright harrowing.

As their adventures grow bolder, the girls hatch a scheme to free a herd of captive horses. But soon, it becomes clear: it’s not just the horses who need rescuing.
