Forest Creek renovations sure to be a hole in one

Forest Creek Golf course

Great news, golfers! Forest Creek Golf Club will undergo a major makeover starting in December of 2017, but don’t retire your irons just yet. The course is set to reopen next summer with a list of improvements more impressive than a double eagle on a par five.

All 18 holes, as well as putting and chipping greens, will be rebuilt to meet United States Golf Association (USGA) specifications, and extra green and tee areas will be added to accommodate 19-hole tournaments and events. Even golf is bigger in the Sports Capital of Texas!

Get your long game ready, because the complete renovation of the driving range will include a new tee area, target greens, sand traps, and regrading of the range. Every bunker on the course will be reconstructed, and seven cart bridges will be replaced, making cruising from hole to hole a breeze.

We’re going to take the next few months to work on our chipping skills, and while these exciting renovations take place, the Forest Creek clubhouse will remain open and available to accommodate parties and events.

For more information on the renovations, or to book your event, call Forest Creek at 512-388-2874, or email Jeff Dayton at jdayton@kempersports.com.
