The Express season might be over for the year, but there’s still plenty of Round Rock baseball news to get excited about here in the Sports Capital of Texas!
Round Rock has yet again been named the Number 2 Best Minor League Baseball Town in the country, according to data compiled by technology company, SmartAsset. This fantastic news comes just days after the Round Rock Express and the Houston Astros announced their reunion as Triple-A affiliates for at least the next four years.
Round Rock also beat out two other Texas cities in the top five, scoring higher than Frisco and El Paso to top minor league baseball cities in the state.
To determine the best experience, SmartAsset looked at data on 159 towns, comparing the quality of life and game day experience of each. According to SmartAsset, “Other than the Express, Round Rock is a great place to live.” Our great sports experience partnered with the high quality of life and low costs of living have kept us on the map as one of the best minor league baseball experiences in America!
