We had to start our sandwich blog with the ever-popular Hoody’s Subs! This local sandwich shop has been a Round Rock classic since 1989. It has raving Google and Yelp reviews and superb subs. They have hot and cold subs filled with premium Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, and fresh vegetables. Their menu is a sandwich-lovers dream. High Country Market and Gastropub
You don’t have to search high and low for a good sandwich in Round Rock because High Country Market whips up sandwich sensations. They have their scrumptious meatball sub with house-made Italian meatballs smothered in La Monica Marinara and topped off with mozzarella and hot Italian peppers. Additionally, they have a sub called the 600 Grinder that is filled with hot capicola, salami, and smoked ham and paired with fresh veggies and sauces to complement.
