Spring League for NFL hopefuls comes to Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex

The Spring League, an elite developmental league and scouting event for talented NFL hopefuls, is coming to the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex from March 28 to April 12, with tickets available for four competitive games to be played April 7 and 12.

The Spring League features around 150 players, with nearly all athletes having previous time on an NFL active, practice or pre-season roster. “Our 2018 roster features 23 former NFL draft picks,” said Brian Woods, founder and CEO of the Spring League. “I think fans will be surprised at the level of talent participating.”

This year’s roster features former Cleveland Browns quarterback and 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, Johnny Manziel, as well as at least 25 players who were involved with Texas college football programs. Players will be evaluated by agents and NFL scouts attending the event, as well as by teams that request tapes of players’ performance at the combine.

Practices and games will take place at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, Round Rock Independent School District’s home football stadium. For more information on the doubleheader games and to purchase tickets, click here.
