The Sports Capital of Texas can lay further claim to that title May 9-10, when Round Rock hosts the Texas High School Lacrosse League 2015 State Championships.
“We are thrilled to bring the best lacrosse programs in Texas to Round Rock for the state championships,” said Peter Englebert, president of the Round Rock Dragon Lacrosse club. “Lacrosse is one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation, and there’s no better place to showcase the best the Lone Star State has to offer than right here in the Sports Capital of Texas.”
Division 1 and 2 Semifinals will be held on Saturday, May 9, with the Championship games held on Sunday. All games will be played at Dragon Stadium at Round Rock High School.
