The leaves are changing, and Thanksgiving is quickly approaching. Seize the season and plan a fall trip to Round Rock! The landscape is picturesque, the weather is superb, and there is plenty to do. Here’s an autumn guide to Round Rock stuffed with activities that will make you “fall” in love.
Take a Fall Foliage Hike
The seasonal scenery in Round Rock is a sight to see! Take in the gorgeous hues of gold, red, and orange along Brushy Creek and our many parks. We have 2,270 acres of parks and 20 miles of trails with a variety of deciduous trees that look stunning this time of year.
Enjoy an Autumn Treat
It’s pie and pastry season! Nothing is better in fall than a homemade slice of pie and a warm pastry. Luckily, we have pie and pastries galore. Satisfy your cravings at one of our specialty bakeries! Then pair your treat with a pumpkin spice latte or americano from one of our gourmet coffee shops.
Sip on a Seasonal Drink!
If you’re in the mood for cider, wine, or seasonal craft beer, Round Rock is filled to the brim with places to grab a drink. We have breweries with custom craft beers and ciders, or if you’re a wine drinker, head over to the Wine Sensation or Craft & Racked Wine Bar to unwind and enjoy a great glass of wine.
Autumn in Round Rock is one of our favorite times of the year! The weather is perfect, and our city has plenty of events. A must-see event is Beaujolais Nights in November! Round Rock was named the “center of the universe on Beaujolais day” by Georges Dubeouf. This highly anticipated soiree invites guests to enjoy jazz and crack open the first bottle of wine from this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau! We also have an Annual Holiday Bazaar with various vendors with unique handcrafted items and creative merchandise.
