We have to start our kid-friendly list with the newly opened Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. This is a kid (and parent) paradise jam-packed with excitement! The Kalahari resort in Round Rock is home to America’s Largest Indoor Waterpark with 223,000 square feet of entertainment for the whole family. They have 30 waterslides, 20 pools and whirlpools, a wave pool, an adult swim-up bar, private cabanas, a waterfall, and a kiddie pool area. They also have the Tom Foolery’s Adventure Park for more kid-friendly thrills, including amusement rides, 250+ arcade games, ropes course, climbing walls, indoor zipline, bowling, laser tag, and a mini-golf course.

Make a splash at Round Rock’s swimming spots! We have the Rock’ N River Water Park that includes a lazy river, exhilarating waterslides, and a water lagoon! If you are looking for more water amusement, check out the Lake Creek Pool, or cool off at the Micki Krebsbach pool. It will be the perfect place to enjoy a beautiful sunny day in Texas.

Monster Mini Golf and Laser Tag

Immerse yourself into a world of monsters and mini-golf at the Round Rock Monster Mini Golf and Laser Tag. This one-of-a-kind place has an 18-hole mini-golf course, laser tag, a maze, and a video game arcade.

Altitude Trampoline Park

Bounce around at the 23,000 square foot trampoline park! Kids can catch some air and have a ton of fun at the trampoline, battle beam,  foam pit, and trapeze.

Escapology

Escape reality and have a thrilling family night. Escapology is an escape room experience where players must complete their mission before time runs out!

Tom Foolerys

Spend the day adventuring through 80,000 square feet of indoor adventure park fun at Kalahari’s Tom Foolerys. Practice your gaming skills with 250 arcade games or brush up on your climbing techniques with the climbing walls and ropes courses, and so much more.

Treat your little princess to a relaxing spa day! The Round Rock Little Princess Spa is the perfect destination for a full day of pampering. They offer mommy and me specials, makeovers, relaxation treatment, manicures, and more. It will be a great way for you and your child to unwind on vacation.

If you have a mini Picasso on your hands, sign your child up for an artistic activity! We have the Ceramic Lodge, where kids can create a ceramic masterpiece or take a clay-building class. We also have the Board & Brush Creative Studio that offers crafting activities and workshops to ensure kids avoid boredom and channel their creativity! Kids can also enjoy an artistic exploration at The City Arts Center on Main Street!

Explore Round Rock’s History

Round Rock Honey Tour

Book an educational honey house tour at Round Rock Honey. This one-hour tour will cover the history of Round Rock Honey, the process of harvesting, beekeeping, and the blending and bottling process.

Round Rock Library 

If your child is a bookworm or you’re looking for an educational activity, make sure to stop by the Round Rock Library. They have seasonal activities and events for your child to enjoy.

Round Rock is the Sports Capital of Texas, so we are filled with sports facilities for kids to enjoy. We have the Dell Diamond which is our premium baseball stadium and home to the minor league team the Round Rock Express. The Round Rock Sports Center is our indoor sports facility perfect for basketball and volleyball and we have the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex for outdoor youth sports. These facilities are fantastic places for your child to watch or play a game!

Round Rock has parks galore that kids will adore! We have over 2270 acres of parks and open spaces. Old Settlers Park is one of the best ways to enjoy Round Rock’s outdoors. The 640-acre park has seven playgrounds and 40 picnic areas with barbeque grills. Round Rock also offers several specialty parks, including the Play for All Abilities Park

Round Rock is stuffed with family-friendly restaurants with kid-approved menus! Places like Hat Creek Burger Company and Gattitown Round Rock have playgrounds and game arcades at their restaurants.
